I sat down to write a few words as an apologize
I know that I´ve hurt you so bad, and now I realize
As the dust has settled again
I see a reflection of me, that I´ve never been

They can fulfill you, they kiss and they kill you – these words
They cannot describe you, they hurt and they blind you - these words

The papers today say there´s a crisis somewhere in Africa
Chaos and Riots and we all think: “How could it come that far?”
They believed everything said
In the end they found out what really went on in their heads

They build a wall, tear it down, lift you up, but hurt you so bad,
They can upset you, they hide and they dress you – these words

I have a confession to make, that refers to the both of us
A simple succession of words, and I am serious
I promise to be good to you
In good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, I will love and I will honor you
