Norway

words and music by Udo Klopke

He said, that live is like a spinning wheel sometimes
and that he just wants to walk away
“It´s not worth to work all day nine to five, `cause that means
getting old while you sleep”

“I got to face the fact”, he told me slowly
“this plastic life is nothing for me” , so he went to

Norway, to spain and to brasil, out of his doorway
to reach for this piece of life he can´t see
if he´s been there before, he has to
open up this door once more, set up for some undiscovered shore

He´s back now, working at the laundry next door, looks tired all day
And he says, that he can see it clearly now:
he just didn´t go far enough

“I got to face the truth”, he told me, lowly
“this laundry life is more than I can bear”, so he went to

Norway, to spain and to brasil, out of his doorway
to reach for this piece of life he can´t see
if he´s been there before, he has to
open up this door once more, set up for some undiscovered shore

The more I think, the more I find
there nothing, that I couldn´t leave behind
So, let´s turn the globe, while we close our eyes
Watch me noe I´ll cross the line

I go to Norway, to spain and to brasil, out of this doorway
to reach for this piece of life I can´t see
if I´ve been there before, I have to
open up this door once more, set up for some undiscovered shore
